With an SRV entry, you can use DNS to specify which IP-based services a domain offers. Further information is provided for each service, for example the server name that provides this service.
A service is identified by the name and the protocol appended with a dot. Both the name and the protocol are preceded by a _. This prevents confusion with other domain names.
Important: The entries for _Service. und _Server. must be closed with a .!
Structure of an SRV entry:
_Service._Protocol.Domain. SRV Weighting Port Server. TTL Priority

_autodiscover._tcp.YourDomain.at. SRV 0 443 webmail.YourDomain.at. 3600 0
Domain-only clients: Make entry in the DNS administration in the client area:
As a Domain-only client, please enter the SRV entry in the DNS administration in the customer center.
- Enter the client area via my.helloly.com
- Within the Dashboard, under Domains go for My Domains
- Next to the desired Domain click the wrench symbol
- Within the right menu, under Actions, click DNS-Management

Hosting and mail-only clients: Make entry in the zone editor in the cPanel:
As a hosting or mail-only clients, please enter the SRV entry in the zone editor in the cPanel.
- Enter the client area via my.helloly.com
- Within the Dashboard, under Your active Products/Services go for Log in to cPanel
- Within cPanel scroll until Domains and click onto Zone Editor
- Next to the desired Domain click Manage
- Click + Add Record and create the SRV entry according to the following scheme:
