Email clients: What are the special features of Windows 10?

We have tested different email clients on different operating systems to give you the best experience. We noticed the following special features with Windows 10:

Mozilla Thunderbird

⚠️ The auto-configuration for the incoming/outgoing server works. However, the user name must be changed to the full e-mail address. Max -> Max@Mustermann.at

✅ No problems with SSL certificates

✅ IMAP special folders (Sent, Trash, Drafts, Junk) are recognized automatically

Windows 10 Mail application

⚠️ The auto-configuration does not work. Please enter your access data manually.

✅ No problems with SSL certificates.

❌ IMAP special folders (Sent, Trash, Drafts, Junk) are not recognized automatically.

Windows 10 Outlook 2019

⚠️ The auto-configuration does not work. Please enter your access data manually.
