How do I embed Google Maps in a privacy-compliant way?

Integrating a map helps customers find your local business faster. In AI Web Studio, you can flexibly integrate Google Maps.

Embedding a map:

Use the 'Custom HTML' block or a dedicated Maps block. Go to Google Maps, find your location, and select 'Share' -> 'Embed a map'. Copy the code and paste it into the editor.

Important Privacy Note:

To comply with GDPR requirements at helloly, Google Maps should not transmit data automatically when the page loads. We recommend using a consent banner or a plugin that only unlocks the map after a user click ('Agree & Load Map'). This protects your visitors' privacy and minimizes legal risks.
