Set up e-mail client: Gmail (Android)

Send configuration data by e-mail

You can send the configuration data for an e-mail inbox by e-mail.

1. Log in to the client area via my.helloly.com.

2. Within the Dashboard, under Your Active Products/Services, next to the desired Product, click Log in to cPanel

3. Go for Email and click onto Email Accounts

4. Next to the desired Email Address click Connect Devices

5. At the bottom of the page you find the function Email Instructions

6. Enter the email address to which the instructions should be sent and click Send

Set up Gmail

• To set up an e-mail account, first start the Gmail app
• Now open the menu at the top left
  
  
  
  
• Now select Settings
  
  
  
  
• Now select Add account
  
  
  
  
• Now select Other
  
  
  
  
• Now enter your e-mail address and tap Next
  
  
  
  
• Now select the account type Personal (IMAP)
  
  
  
  
• Now enter the password for your e-mail address and tap Next
  
  
  
  
• Now enter the incoming server. This is made up of mail. and your domain without www, i.e. mail.yourdomain.tld
• Tap on Next
  
  
  
  
• Now enter your Username (corresponds to your e-mail address), your password and the SMTP server. This corresponds to your incoming server (mail.yourdomain.tld)
  
  
  
  
• Make the settings for your account and create it with a tap on Next
  
  
  
  
• You have now successfully set up your email account in Gmail (Android)
