Critical security notice: Never send passwords carelessly via email, chat or messenger.
It is often necessary to transmit passwords securely. To ensure maximum security, helloly has set up a special service for the secure transmission of passwords and access data.
Note: Use this service to securely transmit passwords or other critical content to friends, colleagues, service providers or customers.
Our service provides passwords or access data via a secret link that is only available for a limited number of days or a limited number of views and then self-destructs.
How to transmit passwords securely
- Access our PW-Push-Service via https://pwpush.helloly.hosting/
- In the first field, enter the password or access data to be transmitted.
- Click on the blue button that reads Push It!
- Now you can copy the secret link behind which your password or access data is located and send it by email or chat.
- When the recipient clicks on the link, they are taken to a website where they can view the password.
- Congratulations, from now on you can transfer passwords conveniently AND securely!
Unser PW-Push-Service im Detail
- Enter the password you wish to transmit securely.
- Expire secret link and delete after: – Here you can set when the secret link to the password is deleted. You can enter a certain duration (days) and a certain number of views.
- Use a 1-click retrieval step – Unlike a password, you can confidently send the link that Password Pusher creates via chat, text or email. However, these services often preview the link, which Password Pusher recognizes as a call. Thus, the repeated display of the link preview could use up the permitted calls. This function is used to prevent this by accessing a website first.
Allow immediate deletion – This allows the recipient to delete the Password Pusher link immediately after they have received the password. If the recipient does not delete the Password Pusher link, it will automatically be deleted according to the parameters specified in point 2. - Passphrase Lockdown – As in old James Bond movies (“Have you got a match?”), you can optionally enter a passphrase here that the recipient of the link must know and enter to get to the password.
- Generate Password – As an added feature, Password Pusher also offers a password generator that you can use to create secure passwords. Click on Generate Password and a password will be inserted into the first text field.
Click on the gear symbol to set the parameters for the password.
