Does Cloudflare work with hosting from helloly?

FAQ Bild

Yes, you can use Cloudflare with any hosting package. However, there are a few points to keep in mind:

  • Cloudflare only works with the main domain of your hosting package
  • Cloudflare must point to our server IP
  • The SSL/TLS settings under Cloudflare must be set to “flexible” (default)
  • The number of subdomains for the SSL certificate must not exceed 20
  • Let's Encrypt must be able to continuously retrieve a file from the /.well-known folder from the web space
  • With Cloudflare, you must not have set the TLS/SSL mode to “strict”

Recommendation: With regard to DKIM and SPF, we recommend that you continue to use the DNS servers from helloly.

Attention: If you use Cloudflare's DNS servers, please refer to the corresponding records in the zone editor in cPanel.
