To move a WordPress installation to the root directory, proceed as follows:
Preparation:

Access the helloly customer center via my.helloly.com

Within Your Active Products/Services, click on Log in to cPanel

Scroll to the Files section and select File Manager

Within the File Manager, click Settings in the top right corner

In the Settings dialog box, tick the option "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" and confirm by clicking Save

Exit the File Manager and switch back to the window or tab cPanel - Tools
Change WordPress Directory:

Back at the cPanel scroll all the way down and click onto the helloly Apps Installer

Look for WordPress, click Overview and scroll down to Current Installations

Log into the WordPress installation for which you want to change the directory by clicking on the admin symbol icon

Under Settings, select the function General

Change the WordPress address (URL) and if necessary the website address (URL) according to your wishes

Switch back to the cPanel - Tools window or tab
Move WordPress Installation:

Scroll to the Files area and select File Manager

Open the original directory of your WordPress installation

Select all files and folders with the function Select All
-
Select the function Move
-
As the file path enter the main directory ( /public_html/ihredomain.xxx ) and confirm with Move Files

Switch back to the cPanel - Tools window or tab
Enter a new WordPress directory in Softaculous

Back at the cPanel scroll all the way down and click onto the helloly Apps Installer

Look for WordPress, click Overview and scroll down to Current Installations

Next to the desired WordPress Installation, within the Options column, click on Edit Details (Pencil Icon)

Change the Directory to .../public_html/ihredomain.xxx/

Change the URL to yourdomain.xxx

Scroll all the way down and confirm by clicking on Save Installation Details
You have now successfully moved your WordPress installation.
